Meet Recap: Chenango Valley
While celebrating senior night, the 14 year drought of division championships has ended for the girls team! With a 97-34 victory, the girls finish their dual meet season with a record of 8-1 and 3-0 in the division!
The dominant performance was led by 4 event winners Quinn Sirgany (4x8, 1500, 800, 3K) and Pipher Reid (4x8, 400, 200, 4x4). Pipher moved into 2nd place all the in the 400 with a time of 1:00.5. Gianna Lawrence added three wins (Long Jump, Triple Jump, 100H) and a 2nd place in the 200. The girls won all 3 relays and seniors Jozz Hall and Lauren White added victories of their own.
The boys team was led by strong days from Connor Little and Ethan Howell. Connor won the 800 and took 2nd in the 1600 while Ethan continued his dominance by winning both throws.

Monday is the Class Championship at Norwich. Departure Time is still TBD. The throws are starting at 4:30 and the rest of the meet is starting at 5:30. Unfortunately, spectators are not allowed due to the quantity of athletes that will be at the meet.
