Parkhurst Invite

CF Track and Field had another impressive display of PRs and Podiums at the Parkhurst Invitational on Saturday May 13.

Kellen Mulesky (800), Dominick Panko (400H), Liam Wood and Conway Mallory (1600), Kathryn White (1500), Mari Pourby and Kendell Little (800), and Alyssa Denton (Triple Jump) all set their personal bests in their events.

Other meet highlights included junior Walker Paske placing fifth in the Shot Put and sophomore Nate Rabb finishing 6th in the Open 400.  Nate ran 53.89 and tied Troy Bowersox (Class of 2010) for tenth on the Modern 400 Meter list in school history.  Nate also tied fellow sophomore and teammate Ethan Vaseleck for sixth in the High Jump on Saturday.  Ethan, meanwhile, was the highest placed Forker of the day, leaping 38’10.75” in the Triple Jump and set his new PR while finishing second at the meet.

Eighth Graders Max Harkness and Lincoln Raab both had extremely impressive meets.  Max ran his PR in the 400 (56.93) while Lincoln jumped his PR in the Long Jump (17’1”).  Both underclassmen were also part of our 4 by 1 team that ran at finals (47.77) and now own the eighth fastest time in Forks history.  Joining Max and Lincoln on that 4 by 1 Team was sophomore Ethan Austin and senior Lucas McPeak.

Austin also ran 11.69 in the 100 Meter Dash and now holds the fourth fastest time in the event in CF history.  Meanwhile Lucas ran an 11.83 (placing him 6th All Time) and also ran his PR in the 200 Meter Dash (23.88) and is now eighth All Time that event in the history of the school.  No one has made the Top Ten List in the 200 Meter Dash in twenty-one years and only four have made it in the last 38 years!

So for the day, Lucas made three Top Ten Lists in Sprinting.  Quite an impressive feat, but one that the coaching staff have been hoping for ever since he set our Modified Record (12.1) in the 100 Meter Dash four years ago.  Congratulations Lucas!!
