Tim Jenks was All Conference on both offense and defense two years in a row for Chenango Forks football, becoming the first running back in Broome County history to gain 1500 yards in one season.  Tim was stunningly also a three time Sectional Wrestling Champion at 155 pounds.  He went on to play football for Syracuse University and had one of the greatest dual meet win/loss records for any wrestler in Orangemen history, finishing his grappling career as team captain.

Oh yeah, and Tim Jenks just so happens to be one of the fastest trackmen to ever attend Chenango Forks.  Tim was All Conference three times, once in the Open 220, and twice as the anchor man for the 880 Relay.  The team his junior year ran the second fastest relay time in school history to that point and was instrumental in giving Forks our first overall SUS Championship since 1961.  By the time Jenks graduated he had the second fastest time in the 220 Yard Dash in school history, and nearly 50 years later, he is still ranked fourth overall in the event.
