The Class Meet

Our Boys Team stood on nine Podiums, while our Girls Team made six in a great day at the Class Meet in Newark Valley on Wednesday May 24.  Overall, twenty personal records were established on the bitterly cold (for late May) night.   

Sophomore Lauren Paske became only the second female thrower in CF Track History to win a Class Championship as she won the Discus with a throw of 106’10,” the second farthest toss in our history.  Lauren also finished fourth in the Shot Put with a throw of 31’10,” a foot farther than her previous PR and the fourth furthest in school history.

Other meet highlights included both our Boys (Max Harkness, Zephen Tompkins, Connor Little, and Nate Raab) and Girls (Mari Pourby, Grace Harkness, Kendell Little, and Kathryn White) 4 by 8 Teams finishing second.  Sophomore Ethan Vaseleck earned a Third Place ribbon for the Triple Jump and also placed sixth in the High Jump.

Fifth Place Finishers:
-Connor Little in the 3200
-Kara Condon in the 100

Fourth Place Finishers:
-Liam Wood in the Steeplechase
-Nate Raab in the 400
-Max Harkness, Ethan Austin, Lucas McPeak, and Nate Raab in the 4 by 1
