2024 Track Season… In Review
The 2024 Varsity Track Season (In Review)…
To achieve the New York State Public High School Athletic Association's Scholar-Athlete Team Award, at least 75 percent of a team's roster must achieve an overall average of 90 or above during the season. This year, both the Boys and Girls Team achieved this honor.
The girls finished 3-1 on the season. In the last 5 years their record is 21-1. Since 1988, when CF entered STAC, the Girls Track Program has been our most successful program, with 15 Divisional Titles, and 2 Sectional Championships.
Our boys finished 4-0, and won the Division for the second year in row. It was only the second time in CFTF History the boys have gone back to back. The last time was 2015. In the first 48 years of the Track Program (1955-2013), our boys won 5 Division Titles. In the last 10 years we have won 4.
Next season we are going to go back to back to back for the first time!
This season saw 17 different girls score and 24 different boys score!
