STAC Championship

Max Harkness, Sam Paske, Lincoln Raab, and Nate Raab became the first relay team in Chenango Forks Track and Field History to win the STAC Meet, while Nate also earned the STAC Championship in the Long Jump. Lauren Paske finished in second place in both the Shot and Discus, and Clara Little finished third in the Steeplechase the first time she ever ran the event!!

In what will go down as one of the most memorable seasons in Chenango Forks Track and Field History, yet another School Record was broken tonight in Johnson City at the Need For Speed Invite. The 4 by 200 Meter Relay Team of Abdul Bumbrey, Max Harkness, Sam Paske, and Nate Raab broke the 48-year-old previous record with a time of 1:35.03 and finished first at the Invite!

Division Champions!

Congratulations to our Girls Team for going undefeated this season and winning the STAC East Division Title for the fourth time in five seasons by beating CV 76-57.  Leading the way was our Girls Distance Team, who won 38 out of a possible 46 points on the track.  Junior Kaden Schultz won four events (the Triple Jump, Pole Vault, Open 400, and running anchor for our 1600 Meter Relay Team, which also consisted of Grace Kumiega, Mari Pourby, and Ceci Kasmarcik).

Back-To-Back-To-Back Divisional Champions

Our Boys Team went undefeated this season and won the Division Title for the third year in a row by beating Chenango Valley last night, 80-60.  It was a complete team effort with Senior Nate Raab, setting our School Record in the 400 Meter Dash and winning three other events to lead the way.  Sophomore Sam Paske won two events on the evening, the 400 Hurdles and as the anchor of our 1600 Meter Relay Team with Aiden Argento, Tyler Andrews, and Abdul Bumbrey.

May 2, 2025 will go down in Chenango Forks Track and Field History as one of the very best days. Our Boy and Girl Blue Devils placed in EIGHTEEN events, finished second in four events, won six events, set three School Records, and tied a Meet Record at the 27th Annual Gerry O’Donnell Invite! The absolute highlights in a meet full of them were Sam Paske breaking our thirty-four-year-old School Record in the 400H, our 4 by 1 Team breaking a twenty-year School Record, and Nate Raab breaking a sixty-four-year-old School Record in the 200!

Nate Raab won four events (Long Jump, 200 Meter Dash, 100 Meter Dash, and the 400 Meter Dash), Sam Paske won three events (110m Hurdles, 400m Hurdles, and the 1600 Meter Relay), while Ethan Vaseleck swept the Horizontal Jumps, and Jake Clutz won the 1600 and 3200 Meter Runs!

On a perfect mid-April evening, Chenango Forks Track and Field, sponsored by the Nimmonsburg Rotarians, hosted the Fourth Annual Rotary Relays! There were an amazing SIX Stadium Records set this evening! Our Boys 4 by 1 Meter Relay Team tied the School Record and ran the fastest time in Class C in the entire State of New York!

On an absolutely miserable, rainy, dreary, cold, windy afternoon, with portions of the track under an inch of water, and many events canceled for safety reasons, Chenango Forks Track and Field had ourselves a pretty good day!

Seniors Lauren Paske and Nate Raab led the way by winning the Discus and Long Jump respectfully (with Lauren also finishing third in Shot)!

Lauren Paske became the first Thrower in School History to make the Indoor State Championships. She finished 14th in the entire state! Meanwhile our Boys 1600 Meter Relay Team consisting of Nate Raab, Sam Paske, Jacob Clutz, and Zephan Tompkins (our first Relay Team in School History to make the State Meet), finished 15th in the state.
